Restaurant software for a new restaurant

Choose the smallest dependable stack for opening day, then add automation after core service is proven.

YOUR RESTAURANT GOAL

Preparing to open

Choose the opening essentials before buying equipment

Start with the service you plan to offer: counter ordering, table service or takeaway. Use a sample restaurant if your menu is still being written; upload your own menu when it is ready.

  1. List how an order will reach the kitchen and how staff will confirm payment.
  2. Try a sample order on a phone and on the tablet you intend to use.
  3. When your menu is ready, check one dish with sizes, modifiers and a price change.
  4. Before subscribing, compare the current plan, GST treatment, provider charges and any equipment you actually need.

What you can verify

The sample restaurant is an interactive demonstration. It lets you assess the customer journey before configuring a live restaurant.

No menu yet? Explore a sample first. Already have a menu? Upload it, preview it, then register to keep it.

30-day trial. Before subscribing, review the current plans and pricing and checkout details.

The problem

New venues can overbuy software or leave critical workflows disconnected.

How SMOAI approaches it

Use a staged checklist with named owners, a test restaurant or trial store, evidence for each completed step and a rollback path. SMOAI can automate checks, but the merchant confirms business, menu, payment and safety facts.

Practical workflow

  1. List must work opening day workflows
  2. Separate required from later capabilities
  3. Test ordering through payment and kitchen
  4. Verify data export and support access
  5. Schedule later growth and AI modules

Expected operational outcomes

  • Lower implementation risk
  • A focused opening scope
  • A clear upgrade roadmap

Who it suits

  • First time restaurant operators
  • Lean opening teams

Who should evaluate alternatives first

  • Teams seeking a one click launch without checking menu, payments or service workflow
  • Operators who cannot provide the restaurant's own confirmed business information

Frequently asked questions

Does SMOAI require proprietary restaurant hardware?

No. The web based terminal is designed for compatible phones, tablets, computers and TV screens. Some printer, payment terminal and full remote device controls still require compatible hardware or an Android wrapper.

Can a restaurant keep its existing POS or accept cash?

Yes. A restaurant can record cash or an external POS payment manually, or connect supported online payment services when it is ready.

Can SMOAI complete every step without restaurant input?

It can automate much of the setup and testing, but the restaurant must confirm legal business details, menu accuracy, payment choices, staff access and the final go live decision.
